Hello.
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Jane Mackay and I currently live in Quebec, Canada.
I am a graduate of Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario and a retired school
teacher. I am married to a clergyman and we have three grown sons.
I am a person who has many interests and hobbies. I especially enjoy working with my
hands and have a particular appreciation for things Scottish. Several years ago I
decided to combine some of these interests, resulting in the birth of
JMAC Enterprises
, my home-based rug kit business. I have always been fascinated by the character and
colours of Scottish tartans which has prompted me to create patterns suitable for latch
hook rug making. Today, I am able to offer these patterns (along with the other
necessary items) in kit form to those who share my enthusiasm for an interesting
past time
project and a desire to enhance their Scottish heritage.
For several years now, I have been visible at many of the major Highland Games in
Ontario and Quebec. I have exhibited my rugs at the Canadian Sewing &
Needlework
Festival in Toronto and have been featured on a mini TV clip sponsored by
Canadian Living Magazine.
Since my product will be of interest to many people outside my geographical area, I want
to use this web site to meet you, and invite you to join the many others who have found
my rugs something to get 'hooked on'!
Thanks for your visit. I look forward to further communications with you.
Sincerely,

|
